Forum theatre (interactive theatre), is a powerful tool for learning and change. Engaging, inspiring, exciting and fun, it can be used to help any aspect of your business - from sales training, appraisals, management issues, interdepartmental relationships,customer care, networking,health and safety training etc., through to real cultural and behavioural change that will benefit your company as a whole. It is particularly useful in delivering diversity training, including racial, sexual, disability, ageist, and other diversity issues.
Far removed from the traditional classroom based type of training, it provides an opportunity for everyone to get involved in finding out how to resolve any issue, thus creating their own "best practice". It is a non threatening, safe way of exploring issues and problems, and gives people the opportunity try our their ideas and work as a team.
We believe that you can change other peoples' behaviour - not by trying to change their attitude, but by changing your own approach to the situation. The forum theatre piece is specifically tailored to reflect this, using RealPlay(c), to give delegates the opportunity to change just one persons' approach to any problems they may encounter, and see how that can totally change the outcome.
